first thanx for posting so quick.....
Now Im on the dop-mii v12 screen where you install all the ios's
Im reall new to this and really shouldnt have started it by myself but i guess i thought I was smarter than this.... if need be I will reformatt and start over.... although I do have like a dozen different folders with stuff in it for this thing.
this is what i have on my sd card:
folders:
apps
bootmii
config
neogamma
private
wad
and files:
boot.dol
bootmii-booter.dol
hbc-loader.dol
boot.elf
startup.elf
installer
Have you installed the Homebrew Channel?
OK. I'm guessing you'll need to install the ISO36 seeing as you've got as far as the DOP-Mii
Step 3 - Restoring The Bug Into IOS36
Pre-Note: If you have no working Wi-Fi Connection, you can try selecting 'Load iOS from SD Card' instead of 'Download from NUS'
a) Load and Homebrew Channel and run DOP-Mii, on the IOS Selection Screen, select 'Install An iOS w/ fakesign' by pressing down on the d-pad then A on the wiimote. You should now be in the trucha bug restorer portion of DOP-Mii. Load IOS36 and select Downgrade IOS15. Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS'
Make sure you get no errors. If Loading IOS36 doesn't work for this step, press B for no IOS reload when asked to load IOS. Although It should do these steps almost automatically, I'll just include the info.
b) In the fakesign installation, once iOS15 is downgraded, it should begin patching iOS36.. Make sure to install the patched IOS36 with all these patches selected (Just Say Yes to All of the ones that come up)
Install IOS to slot (36)
Hash Check (trucha) Yes
ES_Identify Yes
NAND Permissions Yes
Then Press A on Install Patched IOS36. Again, everytime it asks, choose 'Download from NUS'
c) On the same fakesign installation. Load IOS36 and select Restore IOS15. Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS'
no
tried but when i first ran it i think it was bootmii v0.6 it told me to suck it
Personally, I think you should wait for somone who can help you more on the 4.2.
Like I said, I have 4.1, and it's easier as 4.2 is harder because it removes a ISO which stops homebrew.
If you can't wait, try this; http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html
okay please bare with me, im slow
okay thank you
