its down to the bat file.. depending on your client you need to replace the newsleecher.exe with the client.exe your using

when you set up the server details make sure you get the "connect port" right ! ! lol

also make sure your username and password are correct

I got GrabIt, and put in my XSNews Hostname and done my user name and pass, and I copied the exact same thing and named it UseNet.bat

What do I do about the ports? how do I know if I need to change them?

Started downloading something, and says Unable to connect to reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl: 119

in grabit have you got server 127.0.0.1 for the xs news server..?

sand the port set to the listenport number in your bat file so say its 1118 it needs to be set up as 1118 in grabit ..?

if they do not work .. Im out of options.. my tut is based towards Newsleecher users... but in theory should work for most readers
