Long Story:

You know, I've really not had the best of life.

I was in Luton for 17 years of my life. Luton is a really rough town, full of Asians (Pakistanis).

I have been mugged many times, beaten and bullied at school and threatened at knife point going to meet my girlfriend. Luton, really isn't the best place to live. We done alright for money though, living there, that was, really uptil when I moved to Dunstable, which is about 3 miles away from Luton, but it really is a completely different scene.

We have never had no trouble in Dunstable, and I felt safe going out on my own, without being scared of getting mugged or whatever. I actually felt I got alot of confidence. Sadly, Dunstable is a really small market town, so there really isn't any jobs.

Unlike Luton, we've been struggling for money, and it got worse, when my mum actually started to work, as she had to try and find £1000 a month, for the rent on our house. Our landlady is pretty much conning us, and we haven't been able to do anything about it. My mum left work, and housing benefits (for those who know about this sort of thing) started paying most of the rent, but my mum still had to find £80 a week, to make up for the rest of the rent. Any other landlord/lady would say, oh don't worry, I'm getting most of it, but yet she demands it. My mum just can't afford it.

About 3 weeks ago, my mum told my landlady, she can't afford the £80 a week, and if she doesn't like it, then give her an eviction notice, on which.. she did.

Now, things have been going on inbetween days, and up til today, my mum found out, because we are going to be homeless, there's things thing called a 'No Deposit Scheme' where, if we find a house, anywhere in the UK, my mum can apply for this, and she doesn't have to pay for the deposit to move in, the council pay that.

My mum has been speaking to a friend of her's and apparently she was in the same situation as us, and she moved from Luton to Wrexham (North Wales) and apparently, all the houses over that area accept this No Deposit Scheme, so all we need to do, is find a house that we like, and we can pretty much guarantee it's ours, providing everything goes fine.

Now, before someone here says, "So, you're replying on this friend to get you a house"? No. We're not. We actually have a house to view in Luton (a decent ish side of Luton..) next Friday, but we are looking elsewhere, apart from Luton/Dunstable.

A few places we have come up, that we all like and have been are;

Northampton, Skegness, Brighton/Eastbourne area. Luton is a last resort.

North Wales is looking the most likely though.

Anyway, enough chit chat

Short Story:

We're moving, should be within the next month or 2, not sure where we are moving to.

I have spoken to Sabin, and he's willing to take my job while I get settled in, get my internet back and so forth.

I'll let you guys know nearer the time where I'm moving.

Really does sound like you're having a right shitty time in life lately, my friend. Your landlady sounds like a sadistic bitch and I hope everything goes well with the move, and that you get a place that isn't going to rape the shit out of your family in fees. Of course I'll help out around the site while you're offline and unavailable, I practically live here anyway =D

JUST SO YOU KNOW!! I, too, am moving this month. Milly and I have bought our first apartment together and we're packing/moving there this month (July) Shouldn't take more than 3 weeks, we hope, but I'll still try and get online as often as possible.

hehehe, anyway, my mum knows Middlesbrough can be quite a rough place.

I would recommend the Westcountry/Southwest but it's not the cheapest of areas to live in....

I like it tho' - 36 years and counting......
