I am your Leader!
God. I hate you guys.
Well I'm not exactly on my PC yet, i don't know hwere my extention lead is.. ooops.
What a day yesterday, and this has to be the most stressful and most hardest move we've ever done.
I got up at 7, to get packed on the last bit of things, on which I regret leaving til the last minute, as I had more than I expected.
The van got here around 9:20 time, and then we started loading just after 9:30.
We had finally fully loaded, about 12:20, but I say fully loaded, we would have had to do a 2nd trip, purely because of so many hamsters we have, thanks to my mum, and she had expected us to put 13 cages up front, as there was in no way hell I was sticking them at the back.
We got set of about 12:30 and got at the house around 1:30pm.
There was a party outside, with a bouncy castle and we knocked on the door, and the woman next door said he was in the other next door. (confusing much?
)
I got the keys, and then started unloading, much to our dismay. a load of kids decided to start helping us, which, sure we could have done with the help, but when they decide to start looking in your bags to see what you got, I started to feel uncomfortable.
Considering my mum left pretty much as soon as we started the boxes, which was about 10:30, she still got here alot later. By the time we had unloaded, mum had arrived, and by this point, i was sore, hungry and thirsty. I actaully started feeling dizzy because up to that point, I hadn't had a single bite to eat.
We fully unloaded about 4, and then had a pot-noodle.. on which I couldn't eat, no matter how hungry I was.
We set off the for the 2nd load about 4:30, and got to the old house about 5:30.
We got the last bit of things, and the rest of the hamsters (7 cages..)
We done about 6:15 and then set off. There was a little bit of traffic on the M1 but it wasn't too bad. We got back home about 7:30 and then fully unloaded about 8.
At that point, I really was too tired to do ANYTHING. I was sore on the legs, as when I walk too much, I get sore inbetween my legs, and it's so hard to walk.
We've had a bit of trouble with the kids next door (the right next door) but the left next door are friendly as hell and they welcomed us to the neibour (sp?) hood.
Hopefully, it was just because of the party that was there yesterday, and plus it's new faces.
I went to bed just before 11pm because I was so tired, and was up just before 8 this morning.
We're fully settled, and now the work is getting unpacked.
sadly, there is a flaw, we only have a Cable box here, so we can't use our freeview box, because there isn't no ariel, so we have no TV until godknows when. I'll speak to my mum tonight about internet and TV and hopefully get that sorted tomorrow.
Hopefully, providing I can find my big extension cable, I'll be back on my PC, on this agonising slow internet connection.
Oh.. and there isn't no unsecure networks
