It's GamRR's 1st Birthday today.

On the 31st July 2009, Scott opened the site, aiming to do something, that not many sites have done. Sadly, I don't think the site has gone quite as well as he hoped; at least in my personal opinion, it's not gone quite as well as I had expected.

I came to the site, with Monster on the first day it launched, and we both got the privileged to help around the site, and get it up and running.

As, most of you who are active here, come from PeerPressure, on which, was dying at the time this site launched. I invited a couple of people, and then people from PeerPressure ended up finding out about the site, I tell you now, it wasn't from me. The owner of PeerPressure, still today, has a grudge with me, because he thinks I made the site die.

After about a week of uptime, GamRR was increasing rapidly on new members.

3 Months down the line, I was lucky enough to be made Admin. At first, I always wondered, 'Why me?' I mean sure, I was active, I helped out alot, and I done what I could, but I now realise, Scott was a very busy man, and to this day, I think I've looked at more porn, than Scott has been on the site.

A year on, and we have over 700 members, but sadly, not even half are active. Over the year, we have certainly made a few drastic changes; from layout, to Moderators.

Sadly, today, I'm not going to be able to celebrate this special occasion, due to me moving house, and I'm not sure when I'm going to be back on full time. It probably won't be for at least 2 weeks.

I would just like to say, a HUGE thank you to;

Scott and the members of Staff who have helped out over the past year. Sadly, we haven't had to do too much in the sense of banning wise from trouble makers.

I'd like to also thank everyone for putting up with me. I've tried to do my best on running this site, and helping out as much as I can. I've sure made a couple of mistakes over the past year, but let's hope this next year will be even more fun.

Let's try and get as many posts, and new topics into the forum today, regardless of what it is. It could be any sort of gaming news, tutorials or anything, even mini forum games. Let's try and get off to a good start.

Happy Birthday, everyone! Don't worry, we're gonna grow again this year! I just need to get motivated again to keep posting new threads and uploading new games .. most the time I'm PLAYING those games >_<
